The Oakland Midcentury Modern project involved the complete remodel of a home designed by architect Warren Callister, located in Oakland. The redesign was tailored to accommodate a busy family of four, with significant changes made to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal.
The kitchen was relocated to create a spacious, open area for the family room and kitchen, complete with a built-in desk. The restoration of all Mahogany panels added a touch of warmth and character to the space. Custom elements, such as a bespoke dining table and carefully sourced vintage chairs, were incorporated to enhance the home's midcentury modern charm.
Additionally, both bathrooms were gutted and remodeled, with the primary bathroom featuring a large skylight that floods the space with natural light.
