We believe the power of design can improve the quality of our lives. With over 20 years of experience, a deep love of art, and an ability to design elevated spaces, Bay Area Interior Designer Stefanie Cannizzo and her team create thoughtful, comfortable and artful spaces that enhance our client's daily lives and make them love where they live.
The Meredith Lane project is a beautiful example of how thoughtful design can reshape an entire home. Our clients wanted warm, modern interiors that felt easy to live in, and they also wanted a layout that supported their day-to-day routines. This two-phase project allowed us to create spaces that feel connected, calming, and intentionally designed for real life.

The first phase of the Meredith Lane project focused on the entryway, family room, eating area, and outdoor space. These are the areas the family uses most, so our goal was to make each room feel inviting and cohesive. We introduced a soft color palette, layered textures, and comfortable furnishings to create a warm and modern atmosphere. As a result, the home now has a natural flow that guides you from one space to the next with ease. Each room feels connected, yet still unique and purposeful.

The second phase focused on transforming both the primary bedroom and bathroom to create a connected and elevated retreat. We began by refining the bedroom with soft layers, thoughtful textures, and a serene color palette to establish a calm and inviting foundation. With the bedroom refreshed, we carried that same sense of warmth and balance into the adjoining bathroom, where the original oversized bathtub and outdated finishes no longer supported the clients’ needs or the home’s updated aesthetic.
In the redesigned bathroom, we introduced a spacious walk-in shower wrapped in handcrafted dimensional tile that adds movement and subtle depth. Limestone flooring provides a clean, natural base, while marble countertops with a waterfall detail bring a touch of luxury. A custom vanity and new storage cabinet enhance organization and create a balanced layout. Each detail was selected to elevate everyday routines and establish a sense of calm throughout the suite.

To complete the Meredith Lane project, we turned to the primary bedroom. We wanted the room to feel connected to the newly remodeled bathroom, so we curated a selection of soft fabrics, layered rugs, and serene artwork. This helped create a quiet, restful environment that blends beautifully with the updated bathroom. The primary suite now feels like a true sanctuary, with every detail working together to support comfort and relaxation.
The Meredith Lane project is a reminder that great design is not only about beauty. It is also about creating spaces that function well and support the rhythms of everyday life. This home now feels modern, warm, and thoughtfully curated, and it reflects the style and needs of the family who lives in it.
