Ready to have the home you love?

After decades in its original 1972 form, this Bay Area home was ready for a full refresh—our goal was to open up the layout and bring warmth and function into every space the family gathers in most.

In the Kitchen and Family Room, added square footage called for structural changes to both floors, a true collaboration with the project's architect and builder. Cabinetry was painted in a warm-hued tone that plays beautifully off the rich walnut of the island, while a bold fireplace slab—chosen by the client from a curated selection—became the room's undeniable focal point.

Removing an original fireplace between the Living and Dining Rooms opened up the flow between them, now anchored by a striking pair of doubled-up chandeliers. In the Primary Bath and Laundry Room, tile selections echoed similar tile used outdoors for an indoor-outdoor connection.

This project is a lesson in livability as much as beauty—performance fabric keeps the Dining Room chairs a true family workhorse, and thoughtful floor plan changes throughout reflect a home reimagined for the way this family actually lives.
